The second quarter began just as the first ended with Hallett tallying a quick score 16-seconds in, tying the game 4-4. The Dolphins scored three straight to open up a 7-4 lead but the Express continued to battle, again pulling within one goal (7-6) on goals by Mulcahey and Hallett.
That would prove to be as close as the Express would come as the Dolphins extended their lead to 9-7 in the third quarter before pulling away in the fourth, outscoring Wells 6-3, to seal the victory.
The Express return to action on Tuesday, March 22 when they travel to Oneonta, N.Y. to take on Hartwick College. The game is set to start at 4 p.m.
