Wells College men's lacrosse senior attackman Alex Milliken was recognized as the North Eastern Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending April 2, 2017. It is the second time this season that Milliken has earned the award, and it marks the third time this year that a Wells men's lacrosse player has earned conference recognition.
Milliken led Wells to an 18-8 victory over SUNY Cobleskill in the NEAC season-opener for both teams on Saturday, April 1. In that game, Milliken scored eight goals and had two assists. It was a season-high goal-scoring and point-scoring total for the attackman from Hilton, N.Y.
Earlier in the week, Milliken scored three goals and had two assists in a non-conference 14-13 loss against SUNY Canton.
Wells is 2-3 overall and 1-0 in the NEAC. The Express will play two more NEAC games this week, with a road game Wednesday at Cazenovia and home game Friday at 6:30 p.m. against Morrisville State College.
