EXPRESS EARN HARD FOUGHT VICTORY OVER HOBART

Juan Paulino (Bronx, NY) came through with another big game for the Express as he finished with 22-points and 17-rebounds en route to a 68-65 victory over Hobart College in the consolation game of the Second Annual Park Lodge Hotel Tournament held at Regis College on Sunday in Weston, MA. Paulino, who was also named to the All-Tournament team, has now recorded a double-double in three straight games for Wells. Darrell Bullock (Chicago, IL) also finished with 18-points for Wells.

It was a competitive game throughout that saw the game tied 12 times and the lead change 18 times. Both teams shot identical from the field 25-50, but rebounding was the story of the game as Wells would out rebound Hobart 35-20 for the game, limiting the Statesmen to just three offensive rebounds the entire game.

Wells has now won three of their last four games and improves to 4-7 on the season. The win also avenges and early season, 72-64, loss to the Statesmen back on December 6th. Wells will next play Keuka College on Tuesday, January 5th at 7:00 pm.
