Wooster Defeats Wells Field Hockey

The Wells College field hockey team fell by a score of 8-0 at The College of Wooster on Sunday, Sept. 3. Wooster scored three times in the first half and added five goals in the second half.

Wells is 0-2 on the season and returns to action Wednesday at home against Nazareth at 6 p.m. It will be the first home game of the season for the Express.

In Sunday's game against Wooster, Chloe Marcus and Kate Wells led the Express with two shots each. Goalkeeper Allison Solomon made 18 saves, and the Wells defenders totaled three defensive saves – two from Katherine Pryor and one from Abby Gilson.
